Joint Venture Protective Carbine

JVPC or Joint Venture Protective Carbine is an automatic weapon of the semi-bullpup variety. It is gas operated and has a fire rate of over 700 rounds per minute. It was designed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment, a Pune facility of DRDO. It has been designed in accordance with Army’s general staff qualitative requirements (GSQRs). It has proved its efficacy in a variety of conditions: high altitudes, extreme summer and winter conditions.
