Food Park to be set up in Dindigul

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy has announced that a food park will soon be set up in 10-acre premises at Vedansathoor in Didigul district, Tamil Nadu. This was announced during a district-level review meeting held at Dindigul. The Chief Minister also declared open a vegetable market, set up at a cost of Rs.10 crores near Dindigul.

TN signs 16 MoU for fresh investments and job opportunities

Tamil Nadu government has signed 16 Memoranda of Understanding to promote fresh investments of more than Rs.5,100 crore that would provide over 6,500 jobs. Within 2 months, the state government has signed MoUs for Rs.30,664 crore investment, which is expected to bring more than 67,000 new jobs to Tamil Nadu. Recently, it had also launched a new portal for the government’s investment promotion agency.

India’s second national-level plasma bank opened in TN

After Delhi, India’s second national-level plasma bank was recently opened in Tamil Nadu at the cost of Rs.2.34 crore. The state government has received the approval of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). A plasma bank functions like a blood bank. It is created specifically for those who are suffering from COVID-19 and are in need of a plasma therapy.
